Rapper Mr. Magic and Wife Chastity Die in Car Crash

*Former No Limit Records rapper Mr. Magic and his wife, Chastity, died in a car crash on Friday, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, reports Allhiphop.com.

The couple’s 12-year-old daughter survived the crash, according to the Times-Picayune.

A number of artists associated with No Limit Records tweeted out condolences to Mr. Magic, born Awood Johnson, and his family.

“RIP to my brother, Mr. Magic and his wife,” Mystikal tweeted. “God bless their families.”

Blaz from Roc City Gospel says, “Mr. Magic recently recorded a track with New Orleans gospel group College III entitled Freedom.”
